Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a Data Modeler to design and implement data models using Erwin and Snowflake, aligning with Kimball design principles. You will translate source data into scalable data marts that fit with existing facts and dimensions.

You will also author design mapping documents for Data Engineers and work closely with them during pipeline construction to address questions and remediation, ensuring smooth integration into the data ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Data Modelers need to be proficient in Erwin as the data modelling tool and have excellent knowledge of Snowflake databases. They will need to be able to take source data and construct data marts with Kimball design principles. They will need to be able to build new data marts that will integrate with existing facts and dimensions. In addition, they will need to build design mapping documents that will be used by the Data Engineers to build the data pipelines. They will directly work with the Data Engineers throughout the building of the Data Pipeline to address any questions, remediation, and answer and direct the Data Engineers.
