Job summary

Tekskills in Delhi is seeking an experienced Data Modeller with strong expertise in end-to-end Data Warehouse design, dimensional modelling, and enterprise data architecture. You will design warehouses and data marts from scratch.

Key tasks include source system analysis, data profiling, creating conceptual, logical and physical models, and implementing star schemas or Snowflake schemas. Collaboration with ETL teams and ensuring data governance are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data modelling and data warehousing.
Strong ER modelling and dimensional modelling knowledge (Kimball/Inmon).
Experience designing DWH from scratch and building data marts.
Proficiency with SQL and performance tuning.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and modern ETL tools.

Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise data warehouses and data marts.
Perform source system analysis and data profiling.
Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models.
Design Star Schema, Snowflake, and 3NF schemas.
Define SCDs and data quality rules.
Collaborate with ETL/ELT teams for pipeline development.
Ensure data governance, lineage and metadata management.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
