Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an experienced Data Modeller to lead end-to-end Data Warehouse design from scratch in India. The role focuses on dimensional modelling, data architecture, and building scalable data warehouses that meet enterprise needs.

You will design conceptual, logical, and physical models, define SCD rules, and collaborate with ETL teams to deliver robust data pipelines while ensuring governance and data quality across the organization.

Qualifications

5+ years in Data Modelling / DWH.
Strong ER Modeling & Dimensional Modeling (Kimball/Inmon).
Proficient in SQL, stored procedures and performance tuning.
Experience building DWH from scratch and end-to-end lifecycle.
Cloud experience on Azure / AWS / GCP.
ETL tools knowledge: ADF, Informatica, Talend, DBT, SSIS.

Responsibilities

Design & implement enterprise data warehouses & data marts.
Perform source system analysis & data profiling.
Develop conceptual, logical & physical data models.
Design Star Schema, Snowflake, 3NF models.
Define SCD types, transformations & data quality rules.
Collaborate with ETL/ELT teams for pipeline development.
Ensure data governance, lineage & metadata management.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
