Bristol Healthcare Services in Chennai is seeking a Data - Manager / Assistant Manager US Medical Billing to lead US hospital and physician billing data operations.

You will oversee Payment Posting and Charge Entry processes, ensure data accuracy, monitor KPIs, and drive dashboards and reports. The role requires hands-on data work, leadership to teams, and collaboration with Billing, Coding, QA, AR, and other RCM units.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in US Healthcare RCM Data (Payment Posting & Charge Entry).
• Managerial or leadership experience for senior roles.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end US Healthcare RCM workflows.
• Hands-on experience in Payment Posting and Charge Entry.
• Experience with hospital and physician billing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for dashboards and data analysis.

Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Data professional in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to oversee Payment Posting & Charge Entry operations, ensure data accuracy, maintain operational efficiency, and support timely and accurate revenue cycle performance. The role involves leading teams, monitoring data quality and productivity KPIs, resolving discrepancies, managing reporting, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve overall RCM operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Data operations with a focus on US hospital and physician billing.
• Manage and oversee Payment Posting and Charge Entry processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of payments, adjustments, denials, and other transactions.
• Monitor charge entry accuracy, completeness, productivity, and turnaround time.
• Identify and resolve payment posting and charge entry discrepancies.
• Analyze data trends, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare, validate, and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational dashboards and reports.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of management reports.
• Track KPIs, productivity, quality, aging, turnaround time, and SLA adherence.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance SOPs and process documentation.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with Billing, Coding, QA, AR, and other RCM teams to resolve operational and data-related issues.
• Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of process-related challenges.
• Support process improvement initiatives, audits, client requirements, and new projects.
• Manage multiple priorities and projects while ensuring adherence to quality and productivity targets.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 7+ years of experience in US Healthcare RCM Data (Payment Posting & Charge Entry.).
• Candidates applying for Manager/Asst. Manager roles must have prior leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end US Healthcare RCM workflows.
• Hands-on experience in Payment Posting and Charge Entry.
• Good understanding of hospital and physician billing processes.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO/PPO, Commercial, and W/C billing.
• Experience working with multi-specialty or multi-state healthcare providers is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including reporting, dashboards, data analysis, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and related functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Good understanding of data quality, reconciliation, productivity, and SLA metrics.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and US healthcare billing regulations is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams, manage escalations, and handle projects independently.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
