Responsibilities

• Update BOM data and monitor consumption and scrap accuracy.
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly production variance and efficiency reports.

Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP Data Entry Operator to join our Production Planning and Control (PPC) team. In this role, the candidate will manage real-time data logging for our automotive assembly and component manufacturing lines. He will bridge the gap between shop floor operations and system inventory by maintaining flawless data integrity in SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP Operations & Data Entry :
• Log production outputs: Input daily production yields, assembly counts, and machine breakdown hours into SAP.
• Manage shop floor orders: Create, release, and confirm production work orders based on the PPC master schedule.
• Track inventory movement: Post Goods Issue (GI) for raw automotive components and Goods Receipt (GR) for finished assemblies.
• Verify Bill of Materials: Update and monitor Bill of Materials (BOM) to track accurate component consumption and scrap.
• PPC Coordination & Reporting
• Generate daily reports: Extract SAP data to compile daily, weekly, and monthly production variance and efficiency reports.
• Flag component shortages: Monitor inventory levels in SAP to alert the planning team about raw material or sheet metal shortages.
• Support stock audits: Participate in periodic physical inventory verification on the shop floor and reconcile discrepancies in SAP.

Qualifications and Experience Education

• Any Graduate (B.Com, B.Sc, BBA) or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of data entry experience in an automotive manufacturing setup using SAP.
• Gender : Male or Female
• SAP Modules: Hands-on proficiency with SAP PP (Production Planning) and MM (Materials Management) modules.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with automotive T-codes (CO11N, MIGO, MB1A, MB1C) and basic MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Core Competencies: High typing accuracy, ability to read physical route cards/job cards, and readiness to work in rotating shifts.
