GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a skilled data engineer with strong PostgreSQL/SQL expertise to design, tune, and optimize schemas, queries, and stored procedures. You will collaborate with data engineers to build pipelines feeding Snowflake or data lakes, and work with Spark/PySpark, AWS, and CI/CD tools in a modern cloud environment.

The role emphasizes deploying and managing data lake integrations on OpenShift or Kubernetes, and participating in DevOps processes with Jenkins,

Qualifications

• Strong experience in PostgreSQL or SQL (schemas, query tuning, stored procedures, indexes).
• Familiarity with data engineering tools (Spark Scala, PySpark, AWS).
• Good to have experience in MinIO and Apache Iceberg in data lake/lakehouse setups.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Stash).

Responsibilities

• Integrate datasets from multiple sources (Postgres, NoSQL, object storage, data lakes).
• Collaborate with data engineers to design pipelines feeding into Snowflake or any data lake house.

• Good to have deployment and managing pipelines and Data lake integrations on OpenShift / AWS Kubernetes.
