Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a data engineering professional in Bengaluru to design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries, while building pipelines that integrate diverse data sources into Snowflake or data lake houses. The role collaborates with engineers using Spark, PySpark, Kafka, Flink, MinIO, and Iceberg.

Experience with OpenShift or AWS Kubernetes for deployment is a plus, along with CI/CD practices using Jenkins, Git, and Stash.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in PostgreSQL/SQL schemas, query tuning, stored procedures, and indexes.
• Experience with data engineering tools like Spark Scala, PySpark, and AWS.
• Nice to have exposure to MinIO and Apache Iceberg in lakehouse setups.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Stash.

Responsibilities

• Integrate datasets from multiple sources (Postgres, NoSQL, object storage, data lakes).
• Collaborate with data engineers to design pipelines feeding into Snowflake or any data lake house.
• Work with data engineering tools (Spark with Scala, PySpark or any other programming language, Kafka, Flink, MinIO, Iceberg).
• Good to have deployment and managing pipelines and Data lake integrations on OpenShift / AWS Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Stash).
