Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a DATA ENGINEER to join our Pune/Bangalore teams. This role focuses on building data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, managing linked services, datasets, and parameterization, and ensuring data quality across the stack.

The ideal candidate will leverage Python, JSON configurations, and Git workflows to enable robust data integration, validation, and governance for Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications

• Must have Azure Data Factory development experience and proficiency with ADF activities (Copy, Lookup, For Each, Stored Procedure).
• Strong skills in Linked Services, Datasets, parameterization and dynamic expressions in ADF; experience with Azure SQL and ADLS Gen2.
• Proficiency in Python, JSON config handling, Git version control, and data reconciliation/validation techniques.
