Job summary

Hexaware Technologies in Hyderabad, India is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 8+ years of experience in data analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation. The role involves creating user stories, BRDs, and process diagrams, and working closely with development and testing teams.

Ideal candidates will have exposure to airline or travel domain processes such as PRA, ARC/BSP, PSS/GDS, NDC, or One Order, with strong SQL and data literacy.

Responsibilities

• 8+ years of experience in Business analysis with very good data analysis and good communication & documentation skills
• Prefer (but not mandatory) BA with Airlines and / or Travel industry domain experience - especially in Airline Passenger Revenue Accounting (PRA), ARC / BSP Settlements, PSS / GDS, NDC, or One Order experience
• Very good knowledge of SQL, databases
• Good knowledge of BI, Datalake, Snowflake technologies preferred but not mandatory; Java, AWS knowledge desired but not mandatory
• Work closely with the development and testing team
• Create & document User Stories by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders (in excel and / or Jira)
• Able to create BRD, GAP documents, Swim Lane Diagrams, Creating Process Flow charts etc.
• Perform functional analysis and support in data & reports analysis, developing business mapping, wherever required
• Facilitate and organize business process & application walkthroughs, demos, requirements workshops and meetings with customers product owners & business and Track completion of action items identified to closure
• Understand & identify how the customers are using the applications and capture additional requirements based on the feedback
• Drive to ensure scope clarity from customers & product owner and be able to split larger requirements into smaller sub-requirements, categorize them (e.g. data, UI, logic), perform additional analysis and supporting documentation as may be required
• Communicate and conduct knowledge transfer sessions regarding requirements / user stories with scrum team/s
• Participate in sessions for grooming Jira user stories or detailed requirements review with internal and customers team
