Job summary

Persistent is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to drive data-driven decisions across banking domains. You will analyze banking, customer, and business data, build predictive models, and deliver reports and dashboards for stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data analytics, strong Python/SQL/Excel skills, and a background in BFSI. The role supports hybrid work arrangements and offers growth opportunities through ongoing education and certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, preferably in BFSI Lending, Cards, or PSL domain.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, and Advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Experience in statistical analysis, reporting, data visualization, and business insights generation.
• Exposure to Machine Learning techniques such as Regression, Decision Trees, and NLP is an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• BE/B.Tech in IT/CS or Graduation in Statistics/Mathematics. Data Science certifications preferred.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
