Job summary

S&P Global Bengaluru seeks a data analyst for the Transactions team to research and validate datapoints from filings, regulatory docs, and press releases, supporting M&A, public offerings, and related market insights.

You will work with global data collection tools, contribute to SME initiatives, and develop skills in data modelling, Python, and scripting, within a collaborative, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent comprehension ability.
• Good secondary research skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts as per business need.
• Basic Microsoft Office Certification.
• Basic accounting and financial markets knowledge.

About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use): 07 The Role: Data Analyst Grade (relevant for internal applicants only): 7 The Team: The Transactions team’s mission is to produce the most actionable, transparent, trusted, and comprehensive data & insights in the marketplace for M&A, Public Offerings, MAKB, Investor Activism, EDD, Equity Buybacks, and Bankruptcy. We are currently looking for a highly skilled data researcher with exceptional detail orientation and analytical skills to join us in our mission.
