Job summary

Doctor Agrovet is seeking a Dairy Development Executive for on-site work in Rajasthan. The role involves visiting dairy farms, advising on feed usage and animal nutrition, and conducting farmer meetings, demonstrations, and training to boost productivity and milk quality.

You will build trust-based relationships with farmers, dealers and veterinarians, collect feedback, track sales, and coordinate with internal teams to address customer needs in the assigned territory.

Role Description

The Dairy Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajasthan, focused on supporting dairy farmers and promoting Doctor Agrovet’s cattle feed solutions. The role involves regular field visits to dairy farms, understanding farmer requirements, and advising on feed usage, animal nutrition, and herd management practices. The Executive will conduct outreach and awareness activities, including farmer meetings, demonstrations, and training sessions to improve productivity and milk quality. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with farmers, local dealers, and veterinarians, collecting feedback and market insights, and coordinating with internal teams to address customer needs. The role also involves tracking sales and development targets, preparing periodic reports, and ensuring timely support and service to the farming community in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess knowledge of dairy farming practices, cattle nutrition, and herd management, ideally with experience working directly with dairy farmers or rural communities.
• Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in simple language and build trust-based relationships.
• Candidates should possess basic sales, outreach, and customer relationship skills, with the ability to conduct farmer meetings, product demonstrations, and follow-up visits.
• Candidates should possess field operations and reporting skills, including territory management, record-keeping, and use of basic digital tools for data entry and communication.
• A diploma or degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Dairy Technology, or a related field is preferred; relevant work experience in dairy or cattle feed will be an advantage.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work independently in rural field conditions, with readiness for regular travel in the assigned area.
• Local language proficiency and familiarity with regional dairy practices are beneficial.
