Job summary

Persistent Systems in Mumbai is seeking a Cybersecurity PMO Manager to oversee planning, tracking, governance, reporting, financial management, and operational support for cybersecurity programs. This role collaborates with Security Architects, SOC teams, Delivery Managers, customers and leadership to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

• 8–12 years of PMO, project management, or governance experience in Cyber Security or IT services.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Basic understanding of Security Operations and cybersecurity concepts.
• Experience with Zscaler.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Governance, PMO setup, and program oversight for cybersecurity projects.
• Maintain project plans, action trackers, RAID logs, and dashboards.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies; publish status reports.
• Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly governance reviews.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, revenue, margin, and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with finance for revenue forecasting and billing governance.
• Prepare executive dashboards and management reports for leadership.
• Escalate project risks and coordinate with customers and internal teams.
• Support profitability initiatives and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with Security Practice leaders and delivery managers for governance.

The Cybersecurity PMO Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the planning, tracking, governance, reporting, financial management, and operational support for cybersecurity programs and projects. This position collaborates closely with Security Architects, SOC teams, Delivery Managers, Customers, and Leadership to ensure that cybersecurity initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

What You'll Do:

• Program Governance & PMO
• Maintain project plans, action trackers, RAID logs, and governance dashboards.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly governance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal PMO and cybersecurity processes. Reporting & Analytics
• Prepare executive dashboards and management reports.
• Track KPIs, SLAs, utilization, project health, and delivery metrics.
• Create presentations and status reports for leadership reviews. Publish Monthly Business
• Review (MBR) and Quarterly Business
• Track project budgets, forecasts, revenue, margin, and resource utilization.
• Monitor invoicing milestones and effort consumption.
• Coordinate with finance teams for revenue forecasting and billing governance.
• Support profitability and cost optimization initiatives. Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate with Security Practice leaders, PMs, Delivery Managers, Architects, and customers. Arrange governance meetings and document MoMs and action items.
• Escalate project risks and delivery concerns.
• Support customer operational and steering committee meetings. Resource & Demand Management
• Track resource allocation, utilization, and capacity planning.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 4-8 years in PMO, Project Management, Program Coordination, Governance, Reporting, or Operations Management, preferably in Cyber Security or IT Services.
• Basic understanding of Security Operations and Cybersecurity concepts.
• Experience with Zscaler.
• Power
