Job summary

Persistent is seeking a Cybersecurity PMO Manager in Mumbai to oversee program governance, reporting, and financial management for cybersecurity programs. You will work closely with Security Architects, SOC teams, delivery managers, customers, and leadership to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery aligned with business objectives.

The role requires 8–12 years of experience in PMO/IT services, with strong Excel, Power BI, Jira/Azure DevOps, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in PMO, Project Management, Program Coordination, Governance, Reporting or Operations Management, preferably in Cyber Security or IT services.
• Basic understanding of Security Operations and cybersecurity concepts.
• Experience with Zscaler and Microsoft 365 tools for governance and reporting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Program Governance & PMO management and reporting.
• Maintain project plans, action trackers, RAID logs, and governance dashboards.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly governance reviews.
• Prepare executive dashboards and management reports.
• Track KPIs, SLAs, utilization, and delivery metrics.
• Publish Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Track budgets, forecasts, revenue, margin and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with security leaders, PMs, delivery managers, architects, and customers.
• Escalate risks and support governance meetings.

About Position:

The Cybersecurity PMO Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the planning, tracking, governance, reporting, financial management, and operational support for cybersecurity programs and projects. This position collaborates closely with Security Architects, SOC teams, Delivery Managers, Customers, and Leadership to ensure that cybersecurity initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

What You'll Do:

• Program Governance & PMO
• Maintain project plans, action trackers, RAID logs, and governance dashboards.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly governance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal PMO and cybersecurity processes. Reporting & Analytics
• Prepare executive dashboards and management reports.
• Track KPIs, SLAs, utilization, project health, and delivery metrics.
• Create presentations and status reports for leadership reviews. Publish Monthly Business
• Review (MBR) and Quarterly Business
• Review (QBR) reports. Financial Management
• Track project budgets, forecasts, revenue, margin, and resource utilization.
• Monitor invoicing milestones and effort consumption.
• Coordinate with finance teams for revenue forecasting and billing governance.
• Support profitability and cost optimization initiatives. Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate with Security Practice leaders, PMs, Delivery Managers, Architects, and customers. Arrange governance meetings and document MoMs and action items.
• Escalate project risks and delivery concerns.
• Support customer operational and steering committee meetings. Resource & Demand Management
• Track resource allocation, utilization, and capacity planning.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 4 to 8 years in PMO, Project Management, Program Coordination, Governance, Reporting, or Operations Management, preferably in Cyber Security or IT Services.
• Basic understanding of Security Operations and Cybersecurity concepts.
• Experience with Zscaler.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Project, Jira / Azure DevOps, ServiceNow.
• PMP / CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, ITIL Foundation, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Security+ (Preferred), ISO 27001 Foundation.
