Role Description

The Cyber Security Trainer will deliver classroom-based training in Andhra Pradesh, India, focusing on foundational and advanced cybersecurity concepts for students and working professionals. This full-time, on-site role involves designing and updating course materials, preparing lesson plans, and conducting lectures, workshops, and lab sessions that cover topics such as network security, application security, and information security. The trainer will provide practical demonstrations, guide learners through real-world case studies, and oversee hands-on exercises, including threat analysis and defensive strategies. Responsibilities include assessing student performance through assignments and evaluations, offering constructive feedback, and mentoring learners on career paths and certification options. The trainer will also collaborate with academic coordinators to align content with industry standards and support placement initiatives by helping students build employable cyber security skills.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and structured manner.
• Hands-on skills in Network Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure network architectures.
• Practical experience in Application Security, including secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment, and remediation techniques.
• Knowledge of Malware Analysis, threat intelligence, and incident response methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are highly beneficial.
• Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or corporate mentor in cyber security or related domains, with strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to design structured training content, lab exercises, and assessments, and to adapt teaching methods to diverse learner profiles.
• Proficiency with security tools (e.g., SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, packet analyzers) and familiarity with current security frameworks and standards.
• Commitment to continuous learning, staying current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in the cyber security field.
