Job summary

Mizuho Global Services India Pvt. Ltd. invites fresh graduates to join as Cyber Security IT Apprenticeship in Chennai (Perungudi World Trade Center).

The role offers hands-on exposure to security operations within a major financial services group, with workdays Mon-Fri 9:30am-6:15pm, office-based. You will monitor security via SIEM, assist in vulnerability assessments, maintain incident logs, and help refine security policies while collaborating with IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT Cyber Security or related fields.
• Fresher with good knowledge in Cyber Security, EDR, VAPT, Splunk SIEM.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Monitoring & analysing security from SIEM tools.
• Support in vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing activities.
• Maintain security logs, documentation, and incident reports and escalate security events.
• Conduct research on emerging threats, malware and attack techniques.
• Assist in implementing and reviewing security policies and procedures.
• Participate in audits and compliance checks (ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation for security operations.

Job Role: - Cyber Security- IT Apprenticeship

Job Location: - Chennai ( Perungudi World Trade Center)

Job Timing: - 9.30am to 6.15pm (MON- FRI) work from office

Notice Period: - Immediate joiners only

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Assist in Monitoring & analysing security from SIEM tools


2. Support in vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing activities.


3. Help maintain security logs, documentation, and incident reports and escalating security events


4. Conduct research on emerging threats malware and attack techniques


5. Assist in implementing and reviewing security policies and procedures

8. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secured configurations and patching

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPN, routing).


• Understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux)


• Familiarity with cyber security concepts (malware, phishing, encryption, ethical hacking, EDR)


• Good analytical and problemsolving skills.


• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.


• Good communication and documentation skills.


• Exposure to tools like Wireshark, Nessus, Splunk or similar


• Awareness of cloud security fundamentals (AWS, AZURE)

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in IT Cyber Security or related fields.

Experience:

Fresher with good knowledge Good knowledge in Cyber Security, Ethical hacking, EDR, VAPT , Splunk SIEM, Threat handling.
