Job summary

Mizuho Global Services Pvt Ltd (MGS) invites fresh graduates to join its cybersecurity team in a hands-on role focused on monitoring and improving security operations. You will assist in SIEM monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and incident documentation.

Ideal candidates have a IT Cyber Security degree, basic networking knowledge, and familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Nessus or Splunk. You will learn cloud security basics and support audits for ISO 27001, GDPR, and other standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT Cyber Security or related field.
• Fresher with knowledge in Cyber Security, EDR, VAPT, Splunk SIEM.
• Preferred candidates within 20 km of Chennai Perungudi World Trade Centre.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Monitoring & analysing security from SIEM tools
• Support in vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing activities.
• Help maintain security logs, documentation, and incident reports and escalating security events
• Conduct research on emerging threats malware and attack techniques
• Assist in implementing and reviewing security policies and procedures
• Participate in audits and compliance check (ISO 27001, GDPR etc)
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation for security operations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secured configurations and patching

Role & Responsibilities:

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPN, routing).
• Understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux)
• Familiarity with cyber security concepts (malware, phishing, encryption, ethical hacking, EDR)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Exposure to tools like Wireshark, Nessus, Splunk or similar
• Awareness of cloud security fundamentals (AWS, AZURE)

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in IT Cyber SecuritYy or any institude eg CDAC or related fields.

Experience:

Fresher with good knowledge Good knowledge in Cyber Security, Ethical hacking, EDR, VAPT , Splunk SIEM, Threat handling.

Preferred candidates under 20 kilometers from Chennai perungudi world trade centre.
