Job summary

Arari Interiors seeks a skilled Cut List Engineer to generate precise cutting lists from shop drawings and create production BOMs. You will interpret AutoCAD drawings, work with design teams on dimensions and materials, and collaborate with production to optimize panels.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in cut list engineering or joinery, with strong attention to detail and good communication skills to coordinate with factory and design teams.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in cut list engineering, modular furniture factory, joinery, or fit-out.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate cutting lists for sheets, panels, laminates, edge banding, and hardware.
• Interpret AutoCAD shop drawings and convert them into production-ready BOMs.
• Work closely with the design team to clarify dimensions, joinery details, and material specifications.
• Coordinate with the factory production team for panel optimization and material utilization.
• Assist CNC/Nesting team with cutting breakdowns for efficient production.
• Verify drawings and flag any errors, mismatches, or missing details.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs, material sheets, and data logs for each project.
• Ensure timely delivery of cutlists according to project schedules.
• Support in quality control by ensuring correct materials and sizes are produced.

Role Overview

The Cut list Engineer will be responsible for creating precise cutting lists, BOMs, and production sheets from shop drawings. This role requires a strong technical understanding of millwork, modular furniture, materials, and joinery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate accurate cutting lists for sheets, panels, laminates, edge banding, and hardware.
• Interpret AutoCAD shop drawings and convert them into production-ready BOMs.
• Work closely with the design team to clarify dimensions, joinery details, and material specifications.
• Coordinate with the factory production team for panel optimization and material utilization.
• Assist CNC/Nesting team with cutting breakdowns for efficient production.

Skills Required:

• Experience preparing cutlists, BOMs, and production sheets.
• Knowledge of optimization or nesting software (added advantage).
• Good communication and coordination skills with factory and design teams.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
