Job summary

APM Terminals Maersk is seeking a professional to plan and manage end-to-end supply chain activities across procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution. You will coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and transport providers, monitor stock, and develop demand plans with sales and operations teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, ERP systems like SAP/Oracle, and advanced Excel skills, along with analytical acumen and negotiation

• Knowledge of inventory management and demand planning.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and transportation providers.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability.
• Develop demand forecasts and production plans in coordination with sales and operations teams.
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve cost-effective purchasing and favorable terms.
• Track shipments, delivery schedules, and resolve supply chain disruptions.
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports on inventory, procurement costs, lead times, and service levels.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, and operations teams.
