The role is responsible for guiding the operations team, work in partnership with cross functional teams to create synergy to fulfilling customer SLAs, safe, compliant and efficient operations translating into desired profitability.
You will be responsible to: Oversee the complete warehouse operations (bonded & non-bonded), including inventory flow, shift management, and infrastructure setup. Ensure efficient handling and temperature monitoring of sensitive products during all movements. Implement productivity-enhancing systems and processes. Manage distribution operations, stock accuracy, and order fulfillment. Conduct workload planning, resource allocation, and shift optimization. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and drive cost-effective improvements. Maintain facility safety, housekeeping, and compliance with HSSE and legal standards. Coordinate with customers, manage SLAs, and act as single-point contact for operations. Lead replenishment, cycle counts, bin audits, and emergency picking prioritization. Handle budgeting, Capex/Opex tracking, and asset utilization benchmarking. Collaborate with 3PLs, plant managers, and manpower vendors. Ensure adherence to SOPs, statutory regulations, and customs requirements. Promote safety culture and ensure zero IR/security incidents.
Zero errors in receiving/dispatch. 100% SLA and KPI compliance. High employee engagement (EES score). Full customer satisfaction with no complaints. No deviations from agreements or statutory norms. Successful audits with timely action plans. No safety violations; strict HSSE adherence.
Graduates in any field of study with minimum experience of 5 to 7 yrs in managing warehouse operations.
Good knowledge of WMS system and GWP, warehouse operations, inventory management, stock counts, inventory reconciliation, food safety and temperature integrity in warehouse operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Problem solving and decision making Strong in operations and time management Good analytical skills, effective delegation and result oriented Hands on IT and Excel Skills. Should be flexible working in shifts as required.
