Job summary

Schindler India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Customer Engineer for on-site work in Hyderabad, Telangana. The role focuses on service, repair, and modernization of elevators and escalators, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will manage a service route, respond to callbacks, and maintain detailed Field Link records. Ideal candidates have an Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical background (ITI or Diploma) and strong customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as Technician in E&E industry: at least four years (ITI) and two years for Diploma holder.
• Knowledge of electronics, electricity, mechanics and hydraulics.
• Customer oriented behavior and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the assigned service route and organize time to maximize safety and reliability of equipment.
• Respond to call backs promptly, available for call back coverage during regular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Perform service, repairs and small modernizations according to Schindler standards and safety policies.
• Keep the customer informed regarding equipment condition and maintenance activities.
• Record data inputs diligently in Field Link including time, parts usage and reports.

Your main responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the assigned service route and organize his time to complete the assigned visits and the specific tasks within each visit in order to maximize the safety and reliability of the equipment.
• Respond to all call backs that are assigned in a timely manner and be available for call back coverage during regular work hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Perform all service, repairs and small modernizations according to the Schindler standards, including safety policies.
• Keep the customer informed regarding the condition of his equipment, preventive and corrective repairs and discretionary repairs or modernizations.
• Complete all required data inputs in a diligent and honest fashion; these include time reporting, parts usage, call back reporting, maintenance performance and repair and modernization work reports in Field Link.

What you bring
