The role includes pre-shipment activities such as booking space, arranging transportation, and coordinating logistics, while ensuring compliance with import regulations including DGFT guidelines. Hands-on Import Clearance & Freight Forwarding experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Import Clearance and Freight Forwarding.
• Experience coordinating with shipping lines, airlines, and transporters.
• Knowledge of DGFT guidelines and import regulations.
• Ability to monitor shipments and resolve clearance issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters and stakeholders to facilitate smooth clearance procedures.
• Conduct pre-shipment activities such as booking space, arranging transportation, and coordinating logistics.

• Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues that arise during the clearance process.
• Coordinate with operations staff at the Port/ICD for smooth cargo clearance.
