Job summary

Haier Appliances seeks a seasoned Customs Clearance professional to manage end-to-end import operations for the Pune region. You will oversee BOE filings, DPD movements, and bonded warehouse processes to ensure timely clearance and regulatory compliance.

You will also lead audits, ensure correct HSN classifications, and collaborate with CHA and freight forwarders to minimize detention and demurrage costs while driving data-driven MIS reporting using Advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of good experience in Custom Clearance.
• Experience in BOE filings, DPD movement, import documentation and bonded warehouse operations.
• Experience coordinating with CHA and freight forwarders to avoid detention.

• Customs Clearance & Operations: Manage BOE filings, DPD movement, import documentation, and bonded warehouse operations to eliminate clearance delays.
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure accurate HSN classifications, handle IGCR compliances, lead customs audits, and manage legal cases/show-cause notices.
• Partner Coordination: Direct daily activities with CHA and Freight Forwarders to prevent detention and demurrage charges.
• Duty & Reporting: Identify duty savings opportunities and maintain accurate compliance dashboards using Advanced Excel for MIS reporting.
