Job summary

Beginners World Learning in Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned Curriculum & Content Lead to shape and execute the educational program across Playgroup through UKG. You will design comprehensive annual to daily plans, develop learning modules, and align with NEP 2020 and international best practices.

You will also train teachers, create SOPs, oversee quality assurance, and drive assessment and documentation. Strong background in Early Childhood Education is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Experience designing annual to daily curriculum plans and quality curriculum audits.
• Familiarity with NEP 2020, ECCE guidelines, and internationally recognised methods (Montessori, EYFS, Reggio Emilia).
• Experience in developing teaching resources, assessment tools, and parent engagement materials.
• Ability to train teachers and develop SOPs for curriculum implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development

• Design annual, monthly, weekly, and daily curriculum plans.
• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans, activity planners, and teacher manuals.
• Create theme-based learning modules for Playgroup, Nursery, LKG, and UKG.
• Ensure curriculum aligns with NEP 2020, ECCE guidelines, and international best practices (Montessori, EYFS, Reggio Emilia, Play-Based Learning).

Content Development

• Create worksheets, flashcards, storybooks, activity sheets, assessment tools, and learning resources.
• Develop phonics, literacy, numeracy, science, art, music, and life skills content.
• Prepare digital learning materials, presentations, and parent engagement resources.

Teacher Training

• Conduct induction and periodic training sessions for teachers.
• Train teachers on curriculum implementation, classroom management, and activity execution.
• Develop training manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Observe classrooms and provide coaching and feedback.

Quality Assurance

• Monitor curriculum implementation across centres.
• Conduct curriculum audits and classroom observations.
• Review feedback from teachers, parents, and centre heads.
• Update curriculum based on educational research and classroom outcomes.

Assessment & Documentation

• Design child assessment tools and developmental milestone trackers.
• Develop progress report formats and portfolio assessment systems.
• Maintain curriculum documentation and version control.

Innovation & Research

• Stay updated with emerging trends in Early Childhood Education.
• Introduce innovative teaching methodologies and educational technology.
• Research global preschool practices and adapt them to the organization's needs.
