Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to lead pre-primary curriculum planning and mentoring in Pune. The role emphasizes NEP 2020-aligned play-based pedagogy, observation, feedback, and staff development to ensure high-quality classroom delivery.

The candidate should have a background in ECCE, B.Ed preferred, and 3–5 years of pre-primary teaching, with supervision experience and strong parent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Early Childhood Education.
• Diploma/Certification in ECCE/NTT.
• B.Ed preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in Pre-Primary teaching; 1–2 years supervisory/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum planning and implementation across ECCE programs.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide mentoring.
• Apply NEP 2020 and play-based pedagogy.
• Maintain records and portfolios.
• Plan and implement ECCE curricula.
• Ensure age-appropriate teaching practices.
• Monitor lesson and activity plans and delivery.
• Provide feedback after observations.
• Mentor pre-primary teachers and support staff.
• Lead staff meetings and training sessions.
• Orient new teachers and assist curriculum planning.
• Maintain developmental records and portfolios.
• Organize parent orientation programs and PTMs.
• Address parent concerns and maintain positive communication.
