Fernwehker is seeking a Tech Co-Founder/CTO to help launch a personal development platform. This role focuses on building innovative tech solutions using Flutter and Python, alongside a dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Consumer Tech, a hands-on leadership style, and must thrive in a startup environment. Equity ownership is offered until external funding is secured, upon which some salary may be provided.

About the Startup: We are a personal development platform that helps you in your mental and professional growth journey by motivating you to learn from your everyday experiences.

We are looking for Tech Co-Founder/CTO to join the journey and build a personal development platform.

Note: This job is not the right match for candidates expecting high salaries. We are not looking for employees. This role is envisaged as a Founding Team role and comes with equity ownership only, till we are able to raise external funding, post which some salary is expected to kick in. For the right candidate, a part-time role can also be worked out.

Job Description

This role doesn't come with a defined set of responsibilities and you will essentially have to be someone with proven experience in building a product and also who will do whatever it takes to scale the start-up. We will be mainly using Flutter for front end development, Python for the backend. AWS is our preferred cloud platform. The application would be empowered using AI/ML and predictive algorithms. So it is important to be skilled in these technologies.

• Full Stack Mobile App Development:
  • Flutter and Python (Required)
  • Other technologies like C#, Android Studio, Django, Node.JS are preferred.
• Skilled in using AWS and GCP
• Used AI/ML
• You should have previous experience building applications and working in start-ups from scratch.

Qualifications

As a co-founder, partner, and leader in the company, you would be managing the product/technical team to get things off the ground. We have a big vision to become a large brand.

That being said here are a few things we could point our finger on regarding the role:

We are looking for a technology professional who has a deep interest and exposure to Consumer Tech.

Has the right startup aptitude ie. working under ambiguity, rolling up sleeves and not shaken by small setbacks.

B.Tech / M.Tech - Computer Science from reputed engineering colleges ( IIT / NIT / BITS / Tier 1 Engineering colleges ) - Or you believe you are worth it

Should have a hands‑on approach, ability to architect, design and develop complex applications from the ground up.

Should be able to hire, mentor, motivate engineers and own the engineering charter.

High levels of ownership, a bias for action & leadership trait

An ex‑entrepreneur will be preferred
