Job summary

Making The Difference - NGO is seeking a dynamic Head of Corporate Social Responsibility to lead CSR initiatives, forge strategic corporate partnerships, and drive resource mobilisation. You will oversee social impact projects, ensure timely delivery and rigorous reporting, while mentoring a growing CSR team.

This full-time role based in Mira Road East, Thane, Maharashtra, requires extensive experience in CSR, strong relationship management, and the ability to develop sustainable funding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university.
• A CSR development management certification or related course is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pitch for corporate CSR partnerships across education, healthcare, environment, livelihoods, and community development.
• Prepare and deliver professional CSR pitches and presentations.
• Develop concept notes, project proposals, budgets, presentations and MoUs.
• Ensure proposals clearly communicate objectives, beneficiaries, impact and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate with internal programme teams to ensure CSR projects meet objectives and timelines.
• Monitor project progress, budget adherence, milestones, and deliverables.
• Submit progress and impact reports; reconcile finance figures with programme teams.
• Maintain audit-ready records of partnerships and projects in compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Organise corporate visits, review meetings and employee engagement activities; build CSR team capacity.

Job Title: Head – Corporate Social Responsibility

Department: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven CSR Head to lead our organizations’ initiatives, develop strategic corporate partnerships, spearhead resource mobilisation across various consumer categories and oversee the successful execution of our social impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

CSR Partnerships

• Identify and proactively pitch for potential corporate partners for CSR collaborations in areas such as education, healthcare, environment, livelihoods, and community development.
• Prepare and deliver compelling professional CSR pitches and presentations.

Project Proposals

• Develop concept notes, project proposals, budgets, presentations, and MoUs.
• Ensure proposals clearly communicate transparently the project's objectives, beneficiaries, impact and measurable outcomes.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with internal programme teams to ensure CSR projects are implemented as per defined objectives and timelines.
• Monitor project progress, budget adherence, milestones, and deliverables.

Reporting & Compliance

• Ensure timely submission of progress reports and impact assessment reports.
• Collaborate with finance and programme teams for reconciling finance figures and impact reporting.
• Maintain audit ready records of all partnerships and accompanying projects complying to regulatory frameworks.

Relationship Management

• Organise corporate visits, review meetings, employee engagement activities, and project visits.
• Lead, mentor and build capacity for the CSR team.
• Set clear targets, guide the team and monitor team performance.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree programme from any recognized university.
• A certification/course in CSR development management, or related areas is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in CSR, corporate partnerships, development sector, or NGO management for a candidate holding a Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in CSR, corporate partnerships, development sector, or NGO management for a candidate holding a master’s degree
• Prior experience in handling corporate large CSR projects is preferred.
• Experience in managing a CSR team would be an advantage.

Salary and Benefits

Between the range of Rs. 60,000/- p.m. to Rs. 80,000/- p.m. depending upon the experience and skillsets .

• Impact Measurement & Reporting – Ability to report programme outcomes through KPIs, impact reports, and utilisation reports.
• Partnership Development – Ability to develop long-term strategic partnerships rather than pursuing only one-time project funding.
• Corporate Communication & Presentation – Good written and verbal communication.
