Tata Capital in Maharashtra seeks a seasoned Credit Manager to lead micro housing credit assessments, approvals, and policy adherence. You will underwrite both salaried and self-employed high-value cases, ensuring risk controls and timely decisions.

You will mentor the credit team, strengthen processes, monitor delinquency, and align local market needs with risk strategies while maintaining portfolio quality across the assigned locations in Pune district.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a credit manager in Micro Housing.
• Experience in team building and handling.
• Knowledge of LTV norms and policy guidelines.
• Experience underwriting salaried and self-employed high-value cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end credit assessment and approval for Micro Housing & LAP cases.
• Underwrite salaried and self-employed customer profiles, including high-value cases.
• Review and approve credit proposals, deviations, and disbursement requests as per policy guidelines.
• Ensure quality documentation, compliance, and adherence to LTV norms.
• Coordinate with FI, Legal, and Technical agencies for timely report completion.
• Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency trends, and support recovery initiatives.
• Lead and mentor the credit team, driving process efficiency and underwriting excellence.
• Develop, implement, and enhance credit policies and risk strategies aligned with local market requirements.
• Conduct thorough credit analysis, customer screening, and loan sanctioning to maintain portfolio quality.
