Job summary

Tata Capital is seeking an experienced Credit Manager for Micro Housing to lead end-to-end credit assessment, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring. You will build and mentor a high-performing team, ensure strict policy compliance, and coordinate with FI, Legal, and Technical agencies to expedite approvals.

The role focuses on maintaining portfolio quality, adhering to LTV norms, and driving underwriting excellence within the Micro Housing segment.

• Manage end-to-end credit assessment and approval for Micro Housing and LAP cases.
• Underwrite salaried and self-employed customer profiles, including high-value cases.
• Review and approve credit proposals, deviations, and disbursement requests per policy.
• Ensure quality documentation, compliance, and adherence to LTV norms.
• Coordinate with FI, Legal, and Technical agencies for timely reports.
• Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency trends, and support recovery initiatives.
• Lead and mentor the credit team, driving process efficiency and underwriting excellence.
• Develop, implement, and enhance credit policies and risk strategies for local markets.
• Conduct thorough credit analysis and loan sanctioning to maintain portfolio quality.
