Qualifications

• Experience as a credit manager in Emerging Markets for home loans & LAP.
• Ability to underwrite salaried and self-employed profiles, including high-value cases.
• Proven track record in credit approvals and disbursement governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end credit assessment and approval for Micro Housing & LAP cases.
• Underwrite salaried and self-employed customer profiles, including high-value cases.
• Review and approve credit proposals, deviations, and disbursement requests as per policy guidelines.
• Ensure quality documentation, compliance, and adherence to LTV norms.
• Coordinate with FI, Legal, and Technical agencies for timely report completion.
• Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency trends, and support recovery initiatives.
• Lead and mentor the credit team, driving process efficiency and underwriting excellence.
• Develop, implement, and enhance credit policies and risk strategies aligned with local market requirements.
• Conduct thorough credit analysis, customer screening, and loan sanctioning to maintain portfolio quality.
