Job summary

Credit Saison India is seeking a seasoned credit professional to perform risk-based assessments and credit appraisals for loan portfolios. The role involves due diligence, interaction with partners, and collaboration with multiple teams to enable innovative lending solutions while maintaining policy adherence.

With 4+ years in credit and strong communication, you will contribute to a growing NBFC footprint across India, supported by a team of 1,400+ employees and a broad branch network.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Credit with good communication skills and digital orientation.
• Graduation or post-graduation in any field is required.
• Experience handling secured products (Small Ticket LAP) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment duties within the defined risk philosophy and policy guidelines.
• Credit appraisal of loan applications and decision/recommendation to higher authorities.
• Ensure due diligence in credit analysis, screening, underwriting and sanctioning of loans.
• Interact with customers and co-lending partners to monitor delinquencies and early warning signals.
• Collaborate with Biz Dev, Tech, Product, and Operations to offer innovative products.
• Coordinate with analytics teams to calibrate credit policies in real time.
• Support collection activities and work towards a quality portfolio within defined TAT.
• Promote teamwork within the department and manage a portfolio across partnerships.

Job Description

• Performing assessment duties within the defined risk philosophy of the company
• Credit appraisal of loan applications within the defined policy guidelines and accordingly take decision or recommend for approval to higher authorities
• Ensuring due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting and sanctioning of loans
• Interact with customers and co-lending partners to regularly monitor delinquencies and early warning triggers
• Work closely and collaborate with the teams of Business development, Tech, Product and Operations & support on offering innovative products
• Working in sync with the data analytics team to proactively contribute towards real time calibration of credit policies
• Delivering quality portfolio along within defined TAT and extending support for collection activities whenever required
• Promoting the culture of team work within the team
• Monitoring and ownership of a complete product portfolio amongst different products/partnerships we may work with

Monthly analysis of parameters like

• customer base, industry/ segment profile , loan average ticket size and tenure; if are within the decided norms
• Keep a close eye on market and economic developments relevant for our business and share the learnings within the team
• Active participation in special projects that may be assigned from time to
