Job summary

Sociowash is seeking an experienced Art Director (ACD) to lead creative design for multi-channel campaigns. Based in Mumbai, the role requires guiding a team, delivering visually compelling concepts, and aligning with client briefs.

You will mentor junior creatives, ensure on-time delivery, and push innovative visuals across social and outdoor media while staying ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• ACD (Art) with 7-9 years of experience.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to lead by example.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
• Capable of multitasking and handling enriching/challenging roles.
• Outstanding creativity and attention to detail.
• Understanding latest trends and their impact in a commercial setting.
• Professional time, cost, and deadline management.
• Experience briefing teams with regard to design style and timescales.
• Ability to develop key visuals for campaigns and brands.

Responsibilities

• Ideating and designing creatives as per client brief with your team.
• Briefing Account Manager and Content Strategist on design style, format, print production, and timescales.
• Preparing rough drafts and key visuals for campaigns & brands for Social Media or Outdoor Media.
• Mentor a team of Visualizers and lead their growth in visual aesthetics and communication.
• Campaign planning and building for the given set of clients.
• Upselling existing clients and helping in acquiring new business and pitches.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements.

Requirements

• We want a kickass, smart and quick-witted ACD (Art) with an experience of 7-9 years, preferably in a creative digital agency.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to lead by example.
• Must be in love with Photoshop and Illustrator and also have an understanding of After Effects, Premiere Pro.
• Can ace multitasking and is looking for an enriching and challenging role.
• You should have exceptional creativity running in your veins.
• Giving attention to detail and accuracy of work should be your thing.
• Should have an understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
• Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
• Ideating and designing the creatives as per the client's brief along with your team.
• Working with Account Manager and Content Strategist, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production, and timescales.
• Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size.
• Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.
• Preparing key visuals for campaigns & brands for Social Media or Outdoor Media.
• Mentor a team of young Visualizers and Senior Visualizers and help them understand visual aesthetics and visual communication for a brand.
• Mentor Visualisers to grow them into future leaders.
• Work allocation & excellent management skills to lead a team.
• Campaign planning and building for the given set of clients.
• Upselling the existing clients.
• Helping in acquiring new business and working on pitches and new ideas.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements, if required.
