Job summary

ADPL Aadharshila Designs (P) Ltd. is seeking a creative Architect with a strong conceptual mindset for architectural design competitions, concept development, and live projects.

The role focuses on translating ideas into compelling concepts, sketches, diagrams, and proposals. You will develop design narratives, explore new materials and technologies, and collaborate with senior architects to produce detailed proposals, presentations, and visualizations.

Qualifications

• Strong conceptual and creative thinking.
• Understanding of architectural planning, composition, proportion, and materials.
• Strong freehand sketching and visual communication skills.
• Ability to develop a design concept from a blank sheet of paper.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rhino, Revit, Photoshop.
• Strong presentation and graphic communication skills; research and analyze ideas.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, especially for competitions.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative architectural concepts and design narratives for design competitions and live projects.
• Research and explore new architectural ideas, materials, technologies, and design approaches.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute original design ideas.
• Develop conceptual sketches, diagrams, massing studies, plans, sections, elevations, and presentation drawings.
• Prepare competition presentations, concept boards, design reports, and architectural narratives.
• Work closely with senior architects and the design team to develop concepts from initial idea to detailed proposal.
• Create compelling visual representations using 3D modelling, rendering, graphic presentations, and architectural visualization.
• Study site context, climate, culture, program, and sustainability aspects to develop context-responsive designs.
• Coordinate with visualization, architectural, structural, landscape, and MEP teams when required.
• Assist in developing innovative faade concepts, spatial experiences, material palettes, and architectural details.
• Manage multiple design ideas and deadlines while maintaining a high level of design quality.

The ideal candidate should be able to think beyond conventional architectural solutions, develop strong design narratives, and translate ideas into compelling concepts, sketches, diagrams, presentations, and architectural proposals.

• Strong presentation and graphic communication skills.Ability to research, analyse, and convert ideas into a clear architectural narrative.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, particularly during competition submissions

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or masters degree in architecture from the reputed Indian or International Universities.
• 1-5 years of professional experience in architectural design is preferred.
