Job summary

Akkodis in Pune, India, is seeking an experienced CAE engineer for interior automotive components (cockpit, doors). You will study test specs, prepare CAE input documents, and coordinate CAE projects with internal BU and OEM.

Key focus areas include crash simulation using LSDYNA/Pamcrash, validation with external agencies, and presenting results to customers. Strong communication and knowledge of automotive regulations (ECE, FMVSS) are expected.

Qualifications

• Good product knowledge in cockpits, door trims
• Experience of customer interaction
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Understanding of automotive regulations like ECE and FMVSS
• Experience in material calibration is added advantage

Responsibilities

• Study test specifications of Interior products like Instrument panel, center console, door trims and prepare CAE test plan
• Prepare CAE input documents as per methodology
• Prepare CAE project time plan and communicate with internal BU and OEM
• Coordinate with External agency the CAE project, review the results
• Discuss simulation reports with internal and external customer
• Coordinate with physical testing team and support correlation
• Track project incidences and control project MUA
