Vice President Finance
Job Overview
  • We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Finance with a solid finance and accounting background and proven expertise in managing financial operations for a growing enterprise.
  • The VP of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, robust compliance with accounting standards, and regulatory requirements for both domestic and international operations.
  • This is a critical leadership role that requires a combination of deep financial expertise, strategic vision, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy to support business objectives and drive growth.
  • Provide expert advice on financial planning, budgeting, and long‑term financial goals.
Financial Reporting & Compliance Management
  • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including accurate and timely preparation of financial statements ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with financial and legal regulations around both domestic and international payments, including complete disclosures, timely filings, and taxation obligations.
  • Lead and manage the audit process, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring adherence to accounting regulations and reporting requirements.
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance metrics.
  • Enhance review processes of all vendor commercials for cost efficiency and improvements.
Internal Controls and Treasury Operations
  • Oversee treasury functions, including end‑to‑end accounts payable and receivable management, currency exposure, and capital structuring for financial efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and overseeing remittance workflows to support business requirements.
Process Automation & Operational Efficiency
  • Leverage financial systems, ERP software (SAP, Oracle) and other IT tools to streamline finance operations, automate reporting processes, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Partner with IT teams to establish automated workflows to continuously improve operational efficiency.
Risk Management
  • Implement robust internal controls and compliance mechanisms to safeguard company assets and uphold data integrity across all financial operations.
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures for all third‑party engagements.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance environment.
  • Encourage professional development and ensure the team has the resources needed to succeed.
Qualifications
Education
  • Chartered Accountant or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, an MBA, CPA, or CFA is highly preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10‑15 years of progressive experience in finance, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role (Director of Finance, Financial Controller, or VP of Finance).
  • Proven experience in financial strategy, budgeting, and leading cross‑functional teams.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
