Job summary

OPmobility is seeking an Engineering Team Lead in Maharashtra to guide a skilled team within the lighting systems domain. You will drive performance, set goals, and oversee training while coordinating with cross-functional departments to keep projects on track.

The role requires 3+ years in leading people, knowledge of optics tolerance, Sun Load, GD&T, and plastics, plus CAD tools like Catia and LightTools. Strong communication and decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience leading teams.
• Experience with Catia or similar CAD tools (LightTools or equivalents).
• International project experience preferred.
• Automotive domain exposure is advantageous.
• Sun Load analysis and optics tolerance knowledge.
• Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance chains.
• Basic knowledge of plastics and MS Office.
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities.

• Cooperating with other departments in ordet to better understanding Optical and Mechanical concept

• Submitt and study Lessons Learnt link with optics tolerance.

• Developing of Internal methodology/procedures for Sun Load evaluation and their improvement.

• Passing training and courses needed to obtain required knowledge.

Education

• University Education - Bachelor or Master degree of Technical University or equivalent.

Experience Requirement(s)

• English – advanced level (B1)

• Basic knowledge about the Tools: Catia, Light Tools, (or similar)
