Provide pre-treatment and post-treatment counselling to patients and families.
Offer emotional and psychological support to patients dealing with illness, hospitalization, or procedures.
Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment plans, procedures, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
Act as a liaison between patients, doctors, and hospital departments for smooth communication.
Assist in addressing patient concerns, fears, and grievances with empathy.
Support patients in decision-making related to treatment options.
Maintain counseling records and prepare daily/weekly reports for management.
Participate in patient feedback collection and contribute to service improvement.
Assist in health awareness programs, support groups, and patient education initiatives.
Ensure confidentiality and respect for patients rights at all times.
Master s / Bachelor s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or related field.
0-2 years of experience in hospital/clinical counselling (fresher s with good communication skills may also be considered).
Knowledge of hospital processes, patient care, and counselling techniques preferred.
Strong communication and listening skills.
