Job summary

Carysil in Gujarat, India seeks a Costing Analyst to prepare product-wise cost sheets, analyze material, labour, overhead and production costs, and conduct cost and variance analysis to support decision-making.

You will assist budgeting, forecasting and cost-control initiatives, supervise inventory valuation, and develop advanced Excel-based costing reports, coordinating with Production, Purchase and Finance for accurate data.

Qualifications

• B.Com / B.Com (Accounting & Finance) is essential.
• CMA / ICMAI qualification or pursuing CMA preferred/essential.
• Working knowledge of ERP/SAP and Advanced MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain product-wise cost sheets and standard costing.
• Analyse material, labour, overhead and production costs.
• Conduct cost and variance analysis and identify reasons for deviations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost-control initiatives.
• Assist in inventory valuation and stock-related analysis.
• Prepare daily, monthly and management MIS reports.
• Monitor cost trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Finance and other departments for accurate costing data.
• Support cost audit and management reporting requirements.
• Maintain costing data and reports through SAP/ERP systems.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based costing and analytical reports.
• Provide financial and costing insights to management for decision-making.
