Job summary

A2MAC1 India in Tamil Nadu invites a cost engineering specialist to enhance product development efficiency. You will analyze BIW components and manufacturing processes, benchmark cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with OEMs and suppliers to optimize target costs.

The role demands hands-on BOM costing, DtC/VAVE experience, and strong communication in English. You will join a cross-functional team and contribute to delivering cost-effective engineering solutions across global programs.

Qualifications

• More than 2 to 5 years of experience in BIW and related technologies.
• Experience in BOM cost calculation, DtC/VAVE, materials and processes.
• English written and spoken; overseas study is a plus.
• Bachelor or above degree in electronics, mechanical, industrial engineering or related area.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Strong adaptability, flexibility and innovative spirit.

Responsibilities and duties

1.Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements

2.Research and investigate cost parameters and technical parameters

3.Execute product cost calculation and provide cost optimization ideas or target cost

4.Timely coordinate to solve problems to ensure project normal delivery

KEY MEASURES & INDICATORS (main KPIs used in the role)

1.Generate technical insights report, costing calculation and report, DtC/VAVE ideas and report as per the tasks assigned by manager and according to required quality standards

Qualifications and skills

1. More than 2 to 5 years of experience /knowledge of BIW & technologies like Stamping, welding,Casting, forging, painting, machining in the function of Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, SQE/STA, Lean Manufacturing or Value Engineering;

2.Experience on BOM cost calculation, DtC/VAVE, material and manufacturing process;

3.English written & oral, overseas study experience is a plus;

4.Bachelor or above degree in electronics, mechanical, industrial engineering or related area;

5.Good communication skills and teamwork spirit;

6.Strong adaptability and flexibility, innovative spirit;
