Job summary

A2MAC1 - Decode the future in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu seeks a cost engineer to analyse BIW costs and drive DtC/VAVE initiatives. You will work with OEMs and suppliers on product development, costing, and process optimization, ensuring timely delivery and cost awareness across engineering teams.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of BIW experience, strong English communication, and a background in electronics, mechanical, or industrial engineering. Willingness to collaborate globally is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in BIW and related technologies in cost engineering.
• Bachelor or above degree in electronics, mechanical, industrial engineering or related area.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork and willingness to travel overseas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements.
• Research and investigate cost parameters and technical parameters.
• Execute product cost calculation and provide cost optimization ideas or target cost.
• Timely coordinate to solve problems to ensure project normal delivery.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements

Requirements

• Generate technical insights report, costing calculation and report, DtC/VAVE ideas and report as per the tasks assigned by manager and according to required quality standards

Qualifications And Skills

• More than 2 to 5 years of experience /knowledge of BIW & technologies like Stamping, welding,Casting, forging, painting, machining in the function of Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, SQE/STA, Lean Manufacturing or Value Engineering;
• Experience on BOM cost calculation, DtC/VAVE, material and manufacturing process;
• English written & oral, overseas study experience is a plus;
• Bachelor or above degree in electronics, mechanical, industrial engineering or related area;
• Good communication skills and teamwork spirit;
• Strong adaptability and flexibility, innovative spirit;
