Job summary

Advanced Structures India Private Limited in Jaipur is seeking Mechanical Engineering freshers to join as Costing Engineers focusing on should cost estimation and VA/VE activities for automotive components.

You will collaborate with design, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to build cost sheets, analyze material and process costs, and support cost reduction initiatives through what-if analysis in Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Basic to good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support should cost estimation for automotive components
• Assist in preparing cost breakdowns for manufacturing processes such as:
• Casting
• Forging
• Machining
• Injection Moulding
• Sheet Metal / Fabrication / Stamping
• Support VA/VE activities to identify cost reduction opportunities
• Analyse key cost drivers such as material, process, labour, overhead, tooling, and wastage
• Work closely with design, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams for data collection and analysis
• Prepare and maintain structured cost sheets, reports, and documentation
• Participate in cost discussions and present findings with guidance from senior team members
• Support what-if analysis and scenario-based costing in Excel

We are looking for Mechanical Engineering freshers to join us as Costing Engineers for a high-impact engagement. This role focuses on should cost estimation and Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) activities across automotive components.
