Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to lead cost engineering, control, forecasting, reporting and change management across the project lifecycle for large mining EPCM projects.

Ideal candidates have 15-25 years in consulting/engineering (EPC) with at least 10-15 years in mining, and hands-on experience with Primavera P6, Power BI, and SAP. You will collaborate with global teams and may travel internationally as required.

Qualifications

• Total 15-25 years’ experience in Consulting/Engineering (EPC environment) with minimum 10-15 years’ experience in mining projects.
• Experience with reputed EPCM organization and delivering large-scale mining projects is required.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Primavera P6, Power BI, SAP software will be a significant advantage.

Job Description

• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all cost engineering, cost control, forecasting, reporting, and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Candidates must have prior experience working with a reputed EPCM organization and delivering large-scale mining projects.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with various industry cost management tools & familiarity with Primavera P6, Power BI, SAP software will be a significant advantage.

Basic Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Total 15-25 years’ experience in Consulting/Engineering (EPC environment) with minimum 10-15 years’ experience in mining projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess practical experience in the use of the automated cost or schedule management systems
• Must have had leadership roles as a Control Team Lead (CTL) on a small-sized project or cost or scheduling lead on a large project
• May need to travel internationally for project assignments and in support of business related matters
