Job summary

Fluor Corporation in New Delhi is seeking an experienced Cost Lead with a strong background in mining and mineral processing projects to join our Project Controls team. The role focuses on cost engineering, cost control, forecasting, reporting, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have 15-25 years in Consulting/Engineering (EPC environment), with 10-15 years in mining projects, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Total 15-25 years’ experience in Consulting/Engineering (EPC environment) with minimum 10-15 years’ experience in mining projects.
• Strong cost engineering, cost control, forecasting, reporting and change management skills.
• Experience with EPCM organizations and large-scale mining projects.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6, Power BI, SAP.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost engineering, cost control, forecasting, reporting and change management across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with EPCM teams and mining project leads to ensure cost discipline.
• Utilize cost management tools and systems (PRIMavera P6, Power BI, SAP) to monitor and report performance.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Cost Leads with a strong background in mining and mineral processing projects to join our Project Controls team in the New Delhi office.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all cost engineering, cost control, forecasting, reporting, and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Candidates must have prior experience working with a reputed EPCM organization and delivering large-scale mining projects.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with various industry cost management tools & familiarity with Primavera P6, Power BI, SAP software will be a significant advantage.

Basic Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Total 15-25 years’ experience in Consulting/Engineering (EPC environment) with minimum 10-15 years’ experience in mining projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess practical experience in the use of the automated cost or schedule management systems
• Must have had leadership roles as a Control Team Lead (CTL) on a small-sized project or lead on a large project
• May need to travel internationally for project assignments and in support of business related matters
