Job summary

Fluor Corporation seeks experienced Planners (Home Office & Construction) to support planning, scheduling, progress measurement and project controls for mining projects. You will work with engineering, procurement and construction teams to develop and maintain integrated schedules across all project phases using Primavera P6, with exposure to large-scale mining and beneficiation projects.

Ideal candidates have 15–25 years in EPC consulting/engineering, with 10–15 years in mining, strong

• 15–25 years in Consulting/Engineering (EPC) with 10–15 years in mining projects.
• Ability to communicate with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors and visitors.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules across all project phases.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction and project management teams.
• Support scheduling, progress measurement and project controls for mining projects.
• Provide leadership in CTL on smaller projects or scheduling leads on larger projects.

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Planners (Home Office & Construction) to support the planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and project controls functions for mining projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to develop and maintain integrated project schedules across all project phases.

Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6

Experience in Power BI and schedule analytics tools

Exposure to large-scale mining, mineral processing, and beneficiation, projects are essential requisites.

Basic Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Total 15-25 years’ experience in Consulting/Engineering (EPC environment) with minimum 10-15 years’ experience in mining projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess practical experience in the use of the automated cost or schedule management systems
• Must have had leadership roles as a Control Team Lead (CTL) on a small-sized project or cost or scheduling lead on a large project
• May need to travel internationally for project assignments and in support of business related matters
