Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking an experienced Scheduling Lead to develop and maintain integrated project schedules for EPC mining projects. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to ensure on-time delivery and robust analytics using Primavera P6 and Power BI.

The role requires 15-25 years in consulting/engineering with substantial mining project experience, and strong communication skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Total 15-25 years’ experience in Consulting/Engineering (EPC) with minimum 10-15 years’ experience in mining projects.
• Ability to communicate with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules across all project phases with engineering, procurement, construction and project management teams.
• Lead schedule analytics efforts and optimize project timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met, including international travel as needed.

Job Description

• The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to develop and maintain integrated project schedules across all project phases.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
• Experience in Power BI and schedule analytics tools
• Exposure to large-scale mining, mineral processing, and beneficiation, projects are essential requisites.

Basic Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Total 15-25 years’ experience in Consulting/Engineering (EPC environment) with minimum 10-15 years’ experience in mining projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

• Possess practical experience in the use of the automated cost/schedule management systems
• Having leadership roles on various projects is preferred
• May need to travel internationally for project assignments and in support of business related matters
