Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, scope of work, and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
• Develop project budgets and cost plans based on project requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Analyze project risks and incorporate contingencies into estimates.
• Prepare tender submissions, bid proposals, and commercial documents.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and project management teams.
• Monitor market trends, material prices, and labor rates to ensure competitive pricing.
• Support project cost control activities during project execution.
• Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records.
• Prepare cost comparison reports and value engineering recommendations.
