Job summary

Parag Milk Foods is a leading Indian producer of dairy products, renowned for brands Go Cheese and Gowardhan. We are seeking a Costing professional with 4+ years in manufacturing costing to drive P&L analysis, cost controls, and revenue optimization.

The role collaborates with functional leaders and uses SAP for cost mapping. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and a sound understanding of regulatory requirements to enhance profitability

Qualifications

• ICWA with 4+ years of costing experience.
• Experience in manufacturing costing / FMCG costing.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job description

Parag Milk Foods is an Indian company that manufactures, markets and sells milk and milk products. The company is India's second largest producer of cheese under its brand Go Cheese and the country's largest producer of cow ghee under its brand Gowardhan.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost analysis:

• Have a strong understanding of costing to ensure detailed costing and P&L analysis
• Prepare monthly actual P&L with detailed analysis of raw material costs, packaging material costs, plant overheads and transportation costs
• Understand and track various elements of plant and repacker costing.

2. Revenue Management:

• Collaborate with front-end business leaders to understand financial needs and objectives
• Evaluate various business proposals on schemes and costing
• Prepare scheme letters and ensure accurate mapping in SAP
• Validate actual schemes run and analyse various elements of the topline
• Analyze sales data and trends to optimize pricing and revenue strategies
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.

3. Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Monitor budget vs actual performance and identify variances
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to improve profitability
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
• Assist in developing long-term financial plans and strategies.

4. Compliance and Controls:

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Address and resolve any financial discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications:
