Job summary

Pagariya Food Products Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Cost Accountant in the Finance & Accounts department to manage SKU-wise costing, monitor material usage, and provide reliable cost data for pricing and profitability decisions in the food processing FMCG sector.

You will analyze BOMs, wastage, yield, and variances, and coordinate with Production, QA, and Procurement to drive cost optimization across multiple SKUs.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of cost accounting/ manufacturing finance experience.
• Experience in food processing / FMCG.
• Experience with BOM analysis, yield tracking, and high-SKU costing.
• Knowledge of inventory valuation and variance reporting.
• Understanding of FSSAI and HACCP and cost implications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SKU-wise cost sheets (RM, PM, labour, overheads).
• Track material consumption vs. standard norms.
• Conduct batch-level and recipe costing for production runs.
• Monitor wastage, yield, and shrinkage across processing stages.
• Perform standard vs. actual cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Support product pricing, margin analysis and profitability tracking.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Procurement and Supply Chain for cost optimization.
