Job summary

Teva Global Business Services near Bengaluru is seeking a CMA-qualified Costing Specialist to manage inventory costing, policies, and reconciliations. You will automate processes, drive cost savings, and participate in AOP and quarterly forecasts to support global finance directors.

The role requires hands-on experience in inventory analysis, SAP, and Power BI, with strong English communication and a proactive, deadline-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• CMA qualification is required.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in costing/standard costing.
• Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI and automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with inventory analysis and costing.
• Fluent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage costing related accounting activities, including inventory policies, memos, write-offs, reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Drive value through automation and cost savings opportunities (BOT, UC4, etc.).
• Perform end-to-end AOP and quarterly forecasts for GBS.
• Ensure adherence with costing guidelines, global accounting policies, and corporate/TGO guidelines.
• Review ledgers and ensure accuracy of general ledgers, cost and profit centers.
• Coordinate closing process with accruals and Flux reviews for timely statements.
• Coordinate SOX compliance work and awareness across entities.
• Support external audits with account analyses and documentation.
• Support system implementations and validate testing and deployment.
• Document processes and ensure periodic certification by team members.

Opportunity :

In this position you are part of the Finance GBS Cost Accounting Team and work closely with the Global Finance directors, Site Leads and CFOs as well as with other GBS partners

Role & responsibilities

• Managing all Costing related Accounting activities including inventory accounting policies and memos and write offs, their reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Create Value addition through automation (BOT, UC4 jobs, etc.) & Cost savings / avoidance opportunities
• Perform end-to-end Annual operating plan (AOP) from GBS & Quarterly forecast
• Understand and ensure adherence with applicable financial policies and guidelines with special emphasis on: costing guidelines, global accounting policies, corporate policies, TGO economic guidelines
• Perform regular scrutiny of ledgers, to ensure accuracy of general ledgers, cost center & profit center accounting
• Perform closing process through reviewing accruals notifications and Flux review to ensure timely and accurate financial statements
• Coordination of SOX compliance work for all entities and create further awareness of importance of SOX compliance
• Support of external audit requests by providing account analyses
• Support systems implementation and modification to existing system and ensure timely delivery of all system testing and validation.
• Process documentations and certifications will have to ensure that all process is appropriately documented and periodically certified by team members on regular basis.

Preferred candidate profile

• CMA qualification is must
• Min 3+ years of experience in Costing / standard costing is must
• Good working knowledge of SAP, Power BI & other automation tools
• Good analytical skills and have hands on experience on inventory working & analysis
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English
• Experience in a multinational firm, Manufacturing or within a GBS (Global Business Service) is preferred
• Hands-on and proactive; strong organizational skills
• Accustomed to working with deadlines, in a dynamic environment
