Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited seeks a Manager Core Operations to oversee maintenance and performance of Core Nodes at the Gujarat location. The role focuses on ensuring uptime, integration, and configuration across Nokia and Ericsson core components.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with VOLTE and core network platforms, and hold a B.E in Electronics and Communication. This position requires coordinating with network teams to maintain QoS and respond to outages.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience on CS Core nodes of Nokia or Ericsson.
• Thorough knowledge of call flow of 2G, 3G, 4G and VOLTE.
• Nokia VOLTE nodes; hands on experience.
• B.E in Electronics and Communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% uptime of all Core Nodes.
• MSS and MGW hardware spare management.
• Periodic Core Nodes system and external backup.
• Support in addressing customer complaints.
• POI, BSC, and RNC integration with Core Nodes.
• Day-to-day configurations in Core Nodes.
• Support for network performance KPIs as per threshold.
• New nodes integration and commissioning support.
• MOP integration and related activities.
• Handling care cases and operational emergencies.

Job Purpose

Person will be responsible for hardware and Software maintenance of all Core Nodes deployed at the location. Node includes Core nodes like MSS/MGW/GCS/GMGW of Nokia and Ericsson. UDR HLR Set up of Nokia. Nokia VOLTE Set up.

Key Deliverables of this Manpower Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

• Maintaining 100% uptime of all Core Nodes.

• To support/Undertake various measures to address Customer Complaints.
• POI, BSC, and RNC Integration with Core Nodes.

• Support in maintaining Network Performance KPIs as per Threshold.
• New Nodes Integration and Commissioning Support.
• Support for MOP integration and integration related activities.
• Handling Care Cases and Operational Emergencies
